From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a beautiful and unique wool gauze with a twill weave, a very lightweight blouse or dress weight. It is 100% wool and semi-opaque with a lighter-than-air quality and a soft, dry hand. This fabric has a gorgeous, soft drape, and is stable. The overall impression of the color is a rich malbec, but it has a subtle mottling of highlights and lowlights throughout. Make an overlay, tunic, lined dress or skirt, scarf or shawl, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
